Everybody has their favorite parts of town, often where they grew up, or where they live now and spend most of their time. What follows is a very short list of some of my favorite communities, simply because this is where I spend the bulk of my time and where I have practiced my real estate profession since 2002. This is by no means an exhaustive list, each of these large communities has many more smaller neighborhoods contained within, each with its own feel and flavor.  If you have any questions about any of these neighborhoods, or any others that may interest you, please don't hesitate to reach out and contact us.

Anchorage - ...far from the hustle, bustle and traffic snarls of the city, area residents enjoy a much different type of environment with towering oaks, shady magnolias and flowering dogwoods...

Crescent Hill - ...the area saw a major building boom after the completion of the Frankfort Rail line in 1849 and has attracted residents and business owners ever since....

Glenview - ...people gravitate to Glenview not so much for big barn horse farms or impressive homes on small lots, but for nice homes on sizable lots amid pastoral landscapes...

Highlands - ...one of the oldest neighborhoods in Louisville dating back to the Civil War period, it has become a gentrifying powerhouse since the 1960s and now enjoys a reputation as “Little Portland”...

Indian Hills - ...can still be seen here, from the sweeping, curvy streets and ornamental shrubs to the preserved natural spaces and rows of majestic Sycamores, Maples, Oaks and Dogwoods...

Lake Forest - ...a family-friend swimming pool featuring full-service, a modern clubhouse with locker rooms, upscale and casual dining facility, and a large Golf Pro shop; and jogging trails...

Norton Commons - ...what was once a sleepy tract of rural farmland has blossomed into a self-contained New Urbanist dream of residential space, public parks, retail, restaurants...

Oldham County - ...you’ll find a more rural setting in Oldham County with expansive thoroughbred pastures, spacious lots backing up to private woodlands, and scenic river bluffs...

Prospect - ...an affluent municipality located in a beautiful setting among rich farmland, sandy hills, golf courses, landscaped parks and the Harrods Creek waterway...

St. Matthews - ...the quiet, tree-lined subdivisions and annual events like the Community Street Festival, Halloween in Brown Park and Light-Up St. Matthews...
